Bengaluru, September 15, 2025 — CGN Group has officially completed its acquisition of Tech Scoop India (TSI), solidifying the India-based technology news outlet as a cornerstone of the Irish media company’s global growth strategy.

In an exclusive interview with Tech Scoop India, CGN founder and CEO Michael E. Cunningham detailed how the transition positions both brands for rapid expansion.

“TSI is now fully part of the CGN family. Our goal is to build a network of agile, tech-driven newsrooms. TSI will remain proudly Indian in voice and coverage, while benefiting from CGN’s resources and automation expertise.”

Driving Growth Through Technology

Cunningham emphasized CGN’s investment in AI-driven content workflows to speed reporting and maintain editorial accuracy. “We’ve built systems that collect, verify, and publish technology news at scale,” he explained. “TSI’s audience will see faster updates and deeper analysis without sacrificing credibility.”

Expansion Beyond Borders

Asked about next steps, Cunningham pointed to a dual strategy: strengthening TSI’s footprint in India while opening doors internationally. “India’s startup ecosystem is vibrant, but we also see an opportunity to bring TSI’s perspective to a wider audience,” he said. “Think of it as an Indian lens on global tech.”

Milestones Ahead

Over the next year CGN plans to roll out a redesigned TSI website, launch new social-video formats, and grow advertising partnerships. Cunningham set an ambitious but achievable target: “We want to double TSI’s monthly readers within twelve months.”
